DURHAM, N.C. - North Carolina Central University is hosting a rare doubleheader on Monday, Nov. 17 featuring the first women's basketball home game of the season and the last home volleyball match of the season inside McLendon-McDougald Gymnasium starting at 5 p.m. The Lady Eagles basketball team will open up the home slate against the Lady Bears of Morgan State with tip-off scheduled for 5 p.m. The NCCU women's volleyball team will close out its home campaign by celebrating Senior Night. Four seniors, Kristan Fields, Ashley Shade, Rachel Lloyd and Nadia Hayes, will play their final home match against the rival Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State University. First serve is set for 8 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear white NCCU apparel or T-shirts in an effort to "White Out the Mac." Also, canned food items will be collected to donate to the less fortunate during the holiday season. Tickets to the women's basketball game are $5. Children ages 12 and under, as well as NCCU students with valid ID, will be admitted free. Admission to the volleyball match is free.
