DURHAM, NC - The Eagles of North Carolina Central University will play its final road contest of the season against the Flames of Liberty University on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at the Vines Center in Lynchburg, Va. Game time is set for 7 p.m. This is not the first time that NCCU and Liberty have met on the volleyball court. Tuesday will mark the third meeting between these two schools, which last squared off on Sept. 9, 1996, in Durham, N.C. Liberty has swept the Eagles in each of the prior two matches. The match will be available on a live video stream on "The Edge" at www.BigSouthSports.com. Anyone interested can visit the site and order the match at a cost of $4.95. Registration is open from now until approximately one-hour after the start time. Live statistics will also be available on Liberty's athletics web site at the following link: http://www.libertyflames.com/volleyball/XLIVE.HTM. NCCU enters the match with an overall record of 19-12 in its first season of NCAA Division I competition. The Eagles are 4-6 on the opposition's home court this year.
