Eagles ready for Colonials

DURHAM, NC - The North Carolina Central University Eagle volleyball team will take on the Colonials of George Washington University on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. in the McLendon-McDougald Gymnasium.

Admission is free.

The Eagles are 3-7 at home coming into Thursday's action.

NCCU (4-19) is led by Avaniki Campbell with 166 kills and Nadia Hayes with 128 kills and a team-high of 49 blocks. On the defensive side of the ball, Rachel Lloyd leads the team with 237 digs.

GW (6-8) is coming off a 3-1 loss at home to Xavier on Sunday. The Colonials were led by Alyssa Lang's team-high 17 kills, while Liz Moult finished with 12 kills.
