BUIES CREEK, NC - The North Carolina Central University Eagles fell to the Camels of Campbell University 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 26-24) Tuesday evening.

NCCU was led by Nadia Hayes, who recorded six kills. Belinda Biney-Behncke added five kills, five service aces and five digs, while Rachel Lloyd was the team leader with 10 digs and six assists.

The Eagles (0-12) finished with 27 kills with a .054 hitting percentage, while the host Camels had 35 kills and a hitting percentage of .250.

"We must start out strong in the beginning of the matches," said NCCU volleyball head coach Georgette Crawford-Crooks.

Campbell (3-8) was led by Caitlin Bendy, who had nine kills to go along with her .412 hitting percentage.
