NCCU Bowling competed in the Saint Paul's College Bowling Invitational

RICHMOND, VA - The North Carolina Central University Lady Eagles bowling team placed 11th in the Saint Paul's College Invitational this past weekend.

NCCU, who has an overall record of 13-17 this season, struggled on the opening day of competition, going 2-4 on the day, The Lady Eagles defeated Elizabeth City State and Johnson C. Smith, but fell to Vanderbilt, Saint Paul's, Virginia State, and Bowie State.

On Sunday, the Lady Eagles posted a 2-3 record by defeating Saint Augustine's and Shaw. The Lady Eagles finished with a 4-7 overall record this past weekend.

LaTia Blacknell and Amber Campbell both finished with a pin 1,057 pinfall (176 Avg.), followed by Elizabeth Schuster, who knocked down a total of 1,038 pins (173.0 Avg.) for the Lady Eagles.
