NCCU Lady Eagles' Fundraiser - Sept. 24 at Golden Corral

DURHAM, N.C. - The North Carolina Central University women's basketball team will hold a fundraising event on Thursday, Sept. 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Golden Corral on Highway 55. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet with the Lady Eagles while they eat.

"This is our second year doing this community service and fundraising project," said NCCU head coach Joli Robinson. "It gives our student-athletes an opportunity to mingle and serve our fans. This is one way to say thank you and show our appreciation for your support of our women's basketball program."

All members of the Lady Eagles basketball team will be in attendance, including coaches. Fans will have the opportunity to be served by a member of the Lady Eagles basketball team. Tips and donations will benefit athletic scholarships and the women's basketball team.
