THE GAME: The Lady Eagles of North Carolina Central University women's basketball team is home for the fifth time this season. The Lady Eagles are 3-1 at home. The Eagles take on NAIA West VA. Tech (10-8). Opening tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. NCCU (3-18) last home victory was against Norfolk St. 58-44.

NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL SERIES: West Virginia Tech and N.C. Central will meet for the second time.

LAST TIMEOUT: The WVU Tech Lady Golden Bears improved to 10-8 tonight with a 71-49 route over NCAA DI North Carolina Central University at the Neal D. Baisi Athletic Center in Montgomery, WV.

Tech opened the game with a 19-8 run keyed by senior Shy Wright's six points. NC Central would cut the lead to 19-12 with just over eleven minutes left in the half, but Tech would respond by doubling-up the Lady Eagles 22-11 over the remainder of the half to take a 41-23 into the locker room. Senior Kierra Wilkins led Tech with 13 first-half points, including 3 of 4 from beyond the arc. Jennifer Hukill led NC Central over the first twenty minutes with ten points.

Tech outscored NC Central 30-26 in the second half as the Golden Bears played their bench extensively over the final twenty minutes. Nine Golden Bears found their way to the scoring column, led by Wilkins' team-high 18 points. Senior Shantrelle Matthews followed with 17 points, while Marche' Westray and Wright with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Wright led Tech with nine rebounds and Westray added a game-high seven assists. For NC Central, Hukill finished with a game-high 21 points, followed by Latoya Bennett with nine.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN, AND AGAIN: The Lady Eagles are on the road for majortity of the season. Since becoming a Division I Independent, NCCU will travel to Tennessee, Ohio, Flordia, Pennsylvania (twice), Georgia, Maryland (four times), West Virginia, and of course North Carolina.
