As a Junior (2007-08): Played in 24 games, including eight as a starter, averaging 12.8 minutes per game. Ranked fifth on the team with 37 rebounds. Tied for third on the squad with 5 blocked shots. Scored a career-high 8 points versus Norfolk State (Jan 9). Grabbed a career-best 9 rebounds at West Virginia Institute (Jan. 12). Scored a career-high 8 points twice: versus Norfolk State (Jan. 9) and against Livingstone (Feb. 16). Started 6 of the last 9 games, including the final two contests of the season. As a Sophomore (2006-07): Appeared in 22 games, including two as a starter, averaging 6.0 minutes per contest. Finished scholastic career (2003-05) at George Washington High School for head coach Wayne Shelton. Served as Team Captain. Voted as Team Most Valuable Player. Also received Most Improved Player and Coaches Awards. Team won back-to-back district championships (2003-04, 2004-05) and the regional championship in 2003-04. Served on Career & Tech Council.
