Amy Linder enters her first year at North Carolina Central University, where she serves as the director of basketball operations for the Lady Eagles basketball program.

Before coming to NCCU, Linder spent a year as a physical education teacher and head women's basketball coach at Independence High School in Charlotte, N.C.

Linder, who has ties to Livingstone College just like assistant coaches Antonio Davis and Leah Frierson, was an assistant women's basketball coach at Livingstone from 2004-07, where she also served as the recruiting coordinator and co-camp coordinator for the women's basketball program.

Prior to her stint with the Blue Bears, Linder made her coaching debut at Highland Community College, where she served as an assistant coach for the women's basketball program.

In 2002, Linder received a bachelor's degree in sport management from Livingstone, where she was a member of the Blue Bears basketball team.

She is currently working towards a master's degree in athletic administration from NCCU.

Linder resides in Raleigh, N.C.
