Blanks enters her second season with the Lady Eagles after suffering a season-ending injury in January of her rookie campaign. As a Freshman (2007-08): Appeared in 17 games, including three as a starter, averaging 19.1 minutes per contest. Averaged 4.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per outing as a true freshman. Led the team in scoring with a season-high 11 points at Morgan State (Nov. 21). Other double-figure offensive output versus Elizabeth City State (Dec. 7) with 10 points to go along with 4 assists, 2 boards and a steal in the Lady Eagle Classic. Collected 7 points and season-highs of 7 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals against Fayetteville State (Dec. 8) in day two of the Lady Eagle Classic. High School (New Hanover H.S.): Named All-Conference and All-Tournament Team. Earned team awards for Best Offensive Player (four years), Most Dedicated (three years) and Most Assists (two years).
