7:25pm- The 3rd annual Labor Day classic goes to Fayetteville State Broncos as they avenge last years loss.Final score 33-22.The Eagles begin 0-1 this season to start.

7:20 Once again Eagles can't overcome the turnovers as Stafford Brown throwns an interception with 0:39 left in the fourth quarter.

7:15pm-Eagles Wide Reciever steps up big as the Eagles march down to field.

7:00pm- Touchdown Eagles.Wide Reciever # 87 Wayne Blackwell scores on a 31 yard reception.Two point conversion is good.Eagles trail 33-22 with 5:16 left in the fourth quarter.

6:50pm- Broncos score once again with a 3yard pass to #19 Barnett.Extra point good. Eagles trail 33-14 with 6:39 left.

6:45pm- Eagles offense cant get the job done as dropped and over thrown passes causes the Eagles to punt once again.Eagles trail 26-14 8:26 left in 4th quarter.

6:35pm- Broncos defense not allowing anything for the Eagles. As the defense stops the Eagles on 3 and 3 which causes the Eagles to punt.

6:30pm- End of third quarter.Eagles trail 26-14

6:22pm- Chancellor Nelms get the crowd pumping by yelling defense and it works as the Eagles stop #19 Darryl Barnett in the back field for an 8yard loss.

6:20pm- Quarterback Stafford Brown fumbles once again and the Broncos linebacker #40 Joel Kuvuna recovers.This is the Eagles sixth fumble.Turnover after turnover keeps the Eagles from scoring.

6:15pm- Eagles running back #3 Deshawn Spears rushes for a 19yard gain

6:13pm- Eagles wide reciever #87 Wayne Blackwell is drilled and loses his breath on the field.

6:10 Eagles Punt blocked by Broncos #29 Monte' Summerville and # 20 John Hicks takes it all the way for a 21 yard Broncos touchdown.Extra Point good.Broncos lead 26-14.

6:00pm-Broncos turn the ball over on 4 and 1.Eagles take over on the 24 yard line.

5:55- Broncos running back #22 Richard Medlin rushes for a 21 yard gain.

5:50pm- Kickoff.Broncos start off half with a pass reception to # 30 wide reciever Hakim Potts for a 19 yard reception.

5:30pm- Halftime.Overall NCCU stats.Total offense yards Eagles 187 and Broncos 128.Turnovers really hurt the Eagles with a total of three.However the Eagles did go 2-2 in the redzone.This has helped them really stay in the game close and hang tight with the Broncos.

5:25pm- Will Scott fumbles the pass and it is recovered by Broncos #11 Terrel Allen and then it was pitched to #13 Jeff Gowdy for a 79 yard return for a touchdown and the extra point is good which gives the Broncos the lead with 19-14 at the Half.

5:21- Will Scott catches a 35 yard pass reception with 0:15 left in the half.

5:18pm- Eagles wide reviever Wayne Blackwell catches a 14yard reception.

5:15pm-Broncos Kendon Doe catches a reception to score for the Broncos. The two point attempt is no good.Eagles lead 14-12.

5:12pm- Broncos QB Bryan Hardy is nailed by # 48 Alex Winters.

5:11pm- Eagles botched the punt snap which gives the Broncos a first and goal.

5:10pm-The Eagles just cant seem to catch and hold on to the ball as Will Scott drops a long reception.

4:55pm-The Eagles defense are allowing nothing in their house. Forcing another Broncos four and out.

4:53pm- Jeff Toliver scores another rushing touchdown for the Eagles and Brandon Gilberts extra point is good.The Eagles are now leading 14-6.

4:52pm- Pass interference in the end zone against Broncos # 15 Robert Allen

4:50pm- #3 Deshawn Spears drops touchdown pass.

4:45pm-#83 Will Scott catches a pass for a 39yard gain.

4:35pm- Eagles #3 Deshawn Spears muffs punt and Eagles recover

4:26pm- Broncos score on goal line and extra point is no good after it hits the upright.Eagles still have the lead with a score of 7-6 with 4:51 left in the first quarter.

4:25pm- Broncos fake field goal and convert on a pass for a first down.

4:20- #2 QB Stafford Brown fumbles and Broncos take over on the 21yard line.

4:17pm- Possible Eagles interception is dropped by #8 defensive back Jeffrey Henderson.Broncos punt on 4th and 10. 

4:15pm- Eagles enter red zone. Eagles running back Jeff Toliver scores a rushing touchdown. The Eagles extra point attempt is good which gives the Eagles a 7-0 lead over the Broncos

4pm-Kickoff. Eagles turn the ball over on 1st and 10 due to fumble.

3:45pm- The Eagle band is playing loud across the stadium to be heard.Eagle fans are filling in the seats. The sky is dark as it looks like rain is about to approach.
