DURHAM, N.C. (www.NCCUEaglePride.com) – North Carolina Central University assistant head football coach and offensive line coach Darryl Bullock has been invited to join the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff during the team’s training camp in San Antonio, Texas, starting on Wednesday (July 29).

Entering his third season at NCCU, Bullock will serve as an intern offensive line coach during his seven-day NFL venture, working with the Cowboys’ veteran offensive line coach Hudson Houck.

“I am looking forward to representing the Eagles on the NFL level,” said Bullock. “This is another way to help promote our program and the university.”

This will be Bullock’s fourth summer NFL internship. Previously, he interned with the Cleveland Browns (2001), Miami Dolphins (2000) and New England Patriots (1998).

“This is America’s team… a first-class operation,” said Bullock, who also coordinates NCCU’s hectic football travel itinerary, “so I want to see how they operate and possibly incorporate that into our program.”

Bullock is slated to return to Durham on Aug. 5 to prepare for the opening of the Eagles’ camp on Aug. 7.
