Named to All-Independent Team by Phil Steele's 2009 College Football Preview magazine. 2008 - SOPHOMORE SEASON: Moved from defensive line to linebacker as a sophomore. Ranked seventh on the team with 40 tackles (15 solo). Topped Eagles with 6.0 sacks for 37 yards lost. Placed second on the squad with 9.5 hits for a loss of 45 yards. Added a team-high 6 quarterback hurries and a pass break-up. Recorded a career-high 9 tackles with an assisted sack and 3 quarterback hurries at Coastal Carolina (Oct. 18). Tallied 6 stops with a solo sack vs. Winston-Salem State (Nov. 15). Collected 5 tackles, including 2.0 hits for a loss and 1.5 sacks, vs. Fayetteville State (Aug. 31). 2007 - FRESHMAN SEASON: Earned a starting role on the defensive line as a rookie. Ranked fifth on the team with 48 total tackles (14 solo). Added 2.0 tackles for a loss of 8 yards, 2 quarterback hurries and a pass break-up. Recorded at least three tackles in every game of the season. Amassed season-high 7 takedowns (three solo) versus North Greenville (Oct. 13).
