Named to All-Independent Team by Phil Steele's 2009 College Football Preview magazine.

2008 - FRESHMAN SEASON: Earned starting role at cornerback as a red-shirt freshman. Topped Eagles with 9 passes defended, including team-highs of 5 pass break-ups and 4 interceptions. Amassed 82 interception return yards with returns of 20, 30 and 32 yards. Placed 11th on the squad with 24 tackles. Enjoyed best overall outing at Presbyterian (Oct. 11) with a season-best 7 tackles (3 solo), an interception returned 30 yards, a pass break-up and a fumble recovery. Recorded 6 takedowns with an interception returned 20 yards vs. Winston-Salem State (Nov. 15). Returned an interception 32 yards for a touchdown to go along with 2 pass break-ups and a tackle against Edward Waters (Nov. 1). Contributed 5 tackles at Coastal Carolina (Oct. 18).

WEST LAKE HIGH SCHOOL: Named First-Team All-Conference (SMAC) as a corner back. Also lettered in track. Ranked among top 50 in the nation in the indoor 55-meter dash. All-State 4x100 and 4x200 relay runner.

PERSONAL: Born June 28, 1989 in Washington, D.C. Parents are Melvin and Deborah Ingram. Business Administration major at NCCU.
