2008 - SOPHOMORE SEASON: Earned starting role at nose guard in first season as an Eagle. Recorded 22 tackles (10 solo). Ranked fifth on the squad with 6.5 tackles for a loss, including 1.5 sacks (1 solo, 1 assisted). Notched 3 tackles four times. In best outing of the season versus rival North Carolina A&T (Oct. 4), tallied 3 solo stops, including 2.0 hits for a loss with an unassisted sack. Posted 3 solo takedowns with a takle for a loss at Presbyterian (Oct. 11). Collected at least one tackle in all 11 games. Accounted for at least one takedown behind the line of scrimmage in six consecutive games, starting at #8 James Madison (Sept. 6) until at Coastal Carolina (Oct. 18).
