Briscoe enters his first season with the Eagles as a true freshman. High School (Cardinal Gibbons H.S.): Voted First-Team All-Baltimore Catholic League, First-Team All-MIAA (Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association), First-Team All-Baltimore City and Second-Team All-Metropolitan by the Baltimore Sun. Three-year starting point guard for the Crusaders in the prestigious Baltimore Catholic League (BCL). Amassed 1,148 points, 374 assists, 248 rebounds and 210 steals during his scholastic career. As a senior, was a McDonald's High School All-American nominee and runner-up BCL player of the year behind co-honorees Henry Sims of Mount St. Joseph (Georgetown recruit) and Sean Mosely of St. Frances Academy (Maryland recruit). During his senior campaign, scored a career-high 36 points against BCL regular-season champion Mount St. Joseph and netted 29 points versus eventual BCL tournament champion St. Frances. Selected to play in the Charm City Challenge, where he scored a team-high 14 points to lead the Baltimore City All-Stars to victory over the Baltimore County All-Stars.
