2009: Played in 28 contests, started in 15. Finished the season 10-for-60, (.167 avg). One of five Eagles to not get caught stealing (1-1) (Blake Murray 7-7, David Scott 1-1, Robert Grant (3-3), Greg Pickett (1-1). Highlight game of the season, April 21 vs. Florida A&M, went 2-for-2 at the plate with a two-run home-run and 4-RBI, which was the most RBIs in a game by an Eagle on the year. March 21 vs. Savannah State went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles, a run scored and an RBI. Pinch-ran for Robert Grant in the top of the ninth at Coppin State (April 13), scored the tying run with the Eagles trailing by one late in that contest. NCCU went on to win 12-7. Had a two-game hitting streak from April 30-May 3, going 2-for-8 at the dish against Appalachian State and NC State.

High School (Mount Tabor H.S.): Played two year of varsity baseball, while also becoming an AP Scholar.

Personal: Born April 25, 1990, in Winston-Salem, NC. Parents are David and Ronda Plummer. Major at NCCU is Business Management. Ross is also enrolled in the NCCU Honors Program.
