2009 NCAA DIVISION I INDEPENDENT BASEBALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM 2009: Made 15 appearances which was third on the squad. Led the team with 38 strikeouts. Ended up second with 46.0 innings pitched. Tied for second on the team with Douglas Dalley with 9 starts. One of three players on the team to throw a complete game. (Brandon Strickland and Jeff Citero). Tied for first on the team by striking out 13 batters looking. Took the hill for the season opener against Savannah State (Feb. 20) and threw 4.2 allowed only 3 earned runs and struck out 7. In the home opening series against Savannah State recorded his first Division I win with his complete-game four hitter, allowing one run and struck out seven, tying his season high. Fanned 3 batters or more in 8 of his 15 outings. Struck out at least one batter in 13 of his 15 outings 2008: Threw 36 innings last season, making six starts and eight appearances. Threw two complete games, good enough for second on the team. Tied with James Jordan and Douglas Dalley for most wins with two. Third on team in ERA (7.00). Fanned 23 batters on the season, while issuing just 17 walks. Won two straight games, first on March 18 against Virginia State, pitched seven innings and gave up just three runs on eight hits, striking out four VSU batters. Highlight performance of season came on March 23 against St. Augustine's, threw seven innings, allowing only four hits, while mowing down 6 batters for win number two on the season.
