2009: In 16 appearances threw a team-high 47.0 innings and struck out 26 batters, which was good enough for third on the team. Also tied for team-high in number of starts with 9. After struggling to start the season, settled down and had a solid performance on March 17 vs. NC State. Threw 3.2 innings gave up just 2 earned runs and struck out 3 batters. Best overall outing April 3 at Florida A&M, pitched 5.0 innings. April 13 at Coppin State, went 7.0 innings allowing only five hits and 1 earned run with 4 strike outs. Struck out at least one batter in 10 of his 16 outings.

2008: In 12 appearances last season, finished with the team's lowest ERA (5.50). Tied for the team lead in wins with 2. Topped the team in strikeouts (37). Also led the team with eight starts. Held opposing hitters to .242 batting average. Third on the squad with 37.2 innings pitched. First win came on March 18 against Virginia State, pitching 5.2 innings allowing just two runs on two hits. Struck out 6 Trojan batters. Saved his best performance for local rival St. Augustine's. March 23, pitched 8.0 innings gave up just two runs on five hits, and struck out a career-high 11 batters, while walking just two.
