North Carolina Central University is proud to announce its Soaring Eagles Annual Giving Campaign for the fiscal year 2008-2009. The goal of this campaign is enhancement of the Athletics budget and scholarship fund. Through this campaign, we intend to meet our goal of $1,000,000.00. Eighty percent of this goal will be allocated for athletic scholarships with the remainder going to Athletic Advancement.

As we transition to NCAA Division I, we are required to meet certain financial obligations with regard to scholarships. Our Department of Athletics receives no financial support from the State of North Carolina for scholarships or operating costs. Hence, a significant amount of dollars spent for scholarships comes from donors like you. That is why it is important for us to receive your continued contributions to this outstanding athletics program.

With your contributions, we can continue to attract quality Student-Athletes to enhance our programs on every level. Enhancing our programs is essential to elevated performance at the NCAA Division I level. In addition to attracting quality students, your contributions will allow us to provide quality facilities and services to our Student-Athletes. Providing quality facilities and services shows our Student-Athletes that we value their contribution to the rich history which is North Carolina Central University Athletics. Moreover, your contributions will enable us to create endowed scholarships which will continue to provide financial support for years to come.
